Our Favourite Things - The South West Charities Tournament

Sunday brought a few of our favourite things together - walking football, a charity tournament and even a little sunshine. All this, plus a Sound of Music-themed fancy dress.
The women of the South West walking football world came together to raise money for two regional charities: The Primrose Foundation and The Ricky Grant Oncology Unit in Torbay. The tournament organised by Jane Bartlett, Julia Tibbs and Sarah Breckon raised a staggering £1200 that will be split between both the charities.
Players from different local teams, who usually compete against one another, played side by side in teams named after Sound of Music themes. What a great day out and all for fantastic, local causes.
Here are some of the fancy dress and action shots of the day.
