Four women were in action for Parkinson's Taunton Trailblazers and WF4W spoke to the four women to find out what playing walking football means to them.

WF4W asked what advice you would give to any woman thinking about going to a walking football session but felt nervous that she was too old, too unfit, or because she had never played before. Your response was overwhelming. Women and men in the walking football world shared their experiences as players and coaches to encourage new players into the game.

Julie Norris of Parkinson's Pioneers, Stokesley Walking Football Club and the North East Regional side (amongst other teams!) shares her journey from leaving teaching due to Parkinson's to the support she has received from the walking football community. Now a player and a coach, Julie tells WF4W about the new sense of purpose walking football has given her.
